Leveraging the Super Power of Radar Detection Technology: EVO RADAR™
EVO RADAR™ sensors are ideally suited for a variety of intersections, offering a 110-degree field of view covering two approaches with a single sensor and a range of up to 900 feet (275m). With true presence detection, high levels of accuracy, and superior all-weather performance, the EVO RADAR system is designed to provide reliable lane-by-lane detection throughout the entire field of view using fewer sensors. EVO RADAR provides accurate trajectory information to power advanced ITS applications aimed to reduce travel times and traffic congestion, while increasing safety at intersections for vehicles, pedestrians, and bicyclists.

EVO RADAR™ sensors offer unmatched range, accuracy, ease of use, robust all-weather performance, and the "super" ability to cover all four - or even more - approaches at a typical intersection with just two sensors. EVO RADAR provides data-rich situational and trajectory information powering advanced ITS and safety applications. Recently added innovative new features include an advanced motion filter for persistent object detection and removal in presence zones based on the direction of motion, capability to record from the EVO HUB, enhancements to the REST API, and GPS time accuracy.
Powerful Processing and Data Integration
The soon-to-be-launched EVO RADAR™ Hub 2.0 will provide powerful data processing in a smaller form factor. It will include four sensor port connections on the front of the device and another four at the back to enhance the ease of setup. It will also introduce an LCD touchscreen display for enhanced ease of use.
Detection System Data Analytics and Reporting
EVO RADAR™ is further enhanced with the advanced, cloud-based data reporting, analytics, and monitoring capabilities of Centracs® +Detect. Based on data from the EVO RADAR sensors, +Detect provides key metrics and signal performance measures, such as road user classifications, volumes, speeds, and turning movements. With +Detect, users can automatically access and leverage the detector system’s deep data sets for new levels of performance measures, without additional installation requirements.

Econolite’s Autoscope Vision is an integrated HD camera processor-based sensor solution that delivers the highest levels of accuracy and performance for stop bar vehicle detection, pedestrian detection, bicycle detection and differentiation, advance vehicle detection, traffic data collection, and HD video surveillance. It also supports local Wi-Fi and streaming video to mobile computing devices. Next-Generation Advanced Transportation Controllers: Cobalt® Controller and EOS
Cobalt® is Econolite’s next-generation ATC specifically designed to provide the highest levels of power, performance, flexibility, and ease of use. Fully meeting ATC standards, Cobalt features a heavy-duty controller platform with a breakthrough hardened seven-inch touchscreen matched with Linux-based OS that makes programming and access to functions the easiest in the industry. Cobalt controllers are also designed to be paired with EOS, Econolite’s breakthrough controller software.
Powerful and Flexible Advanced Traffic Signal Controllers
Econolite’s portfolio of advanced traffic signal controllers is about to receive new superpower in the form of major hardware upgrades. The Cobalt controllers will soon receive the next generation of the Advanced Graphics Controller (AGC) card, which will include a blazing fast processor and an order-of-magnitude increase in specs and performance, providing a tablet-like experience on the graphical UI and the capability to stream HD videos seamlessly. Also to be launched soon is the next-generation version of the Engine Board powering both the Cobalt and Linux-based 2070 controllers, which will provide a very significant boost to the specs and performance of these controllers.

EOS, Econolite’s powerful traffic controller software, is now integrated within PTV Vissim. With this integration, the EOS virtual controller is now embedded within PTV Vissim, and users can now run Vissim models with EOS. This enables the powerful features of EOS to be precisely mapped and verified in Vissim simulations, which allows users to evaluate and optimize the performance of the transportation infrastructure virtually before deploying the models in the field.

The ATCC uses high-speed serial communications, providing modern features, advanced diagnostics, enhanced safety, simplified cabinet wiring, and reduced traffic control cabinet size. Engineered to support alternative power sources, the ATCC Standard supports both 120 VAC and 48-volt DC signal heads, while high-density load switches and quad detector modules allow for up to 32 signal outputs and 120 detection inputs.

More Intelligent and Efficient BBS Operations
ZincBlue2 is now integrated with Centracs® ATMS, providing system monitoring, control, configuration, management, and report generation as part of an interactive user dashboard. Leveraging the UPS entity within Centracs’ intuitive Graphical User Interface, ZincBlue2 can be set up quickly by entering the unique IP address of each unit. From there, users can quicky see system status on a scalable map and click on each unit location to pull up system details. In addition, specific system triggers can be set according to operational parameters, including power failures and restoration.
